Domestic property extension. The scheme involved adding ground floor side infill extension to an existing outrigger and removal of flank wall to create an open plan layout.

Details 

Structures Made Easy Ltd. was appointed to design both sub and super structures of the proposed project. Traditional strip foundations were used to support the proposed extension. Steel framing was provided to support concentrated loads and resist lateral loads. A compact universal column (UC) steel section was installed to support the outrigger first floor external flank wall where the ground floor wall below was removed.
