Details
Structures Made Easy Ltd was appointed by the client to design both sub and super structures of the proposed project. The ground floor was extended onto traditional strip foundations and supported by a ‘box frame’ steel structure. The design featured steel beams under load bearing walls in order to allow for their removal and hence add additional space and achieve an open plan layout. The flat roof was constructed of traditional timber with large skylights.
