Structures Made Easy Ltd provided a comprehensive range of services for this large-scale domestic conversion project. The range of services provided included permanent structural works, temporary works and party wall matters. Starting from the planning phase, a structural method statement was submitted and approved for the planning application. This was followed by the successful submission of a party wall agreement. Full design of the basement conversion was completed which included underpinning and retaining wall design. In addition, a temporary works design was prepared to prop the building whilst the entire rear façade was being removed to add a full height 3 storey extension. Finally, a full structural design for the superstructure and party wall was prepared for the contractor and design team.
