Domestic property conversion and extension. The scheme involved adding a side return extension, converting the property by removing some internal load bearing walls and adding additional space with an open plan layout.

Structures Made Easy Ltd. was approached by the client to design the structure associated with the proposed ground floor wraparound extension and internal alterations. The project involved standard traditional strip foundations, simply supported steel beams for removal of load bearing walls, steel ‘goal post’ arrangement for the large rear bifold doors and multiple steel and timber trimmers for the large rooflight and side glazing in the roof.
