Details
Structures Made Easy Ltd. was approached by the client architect to design both sub and super structures of the proposed building. Raft foundations were designed and specified to support the proposed extension and to appease party wall matters. This design specification also helped achieve speed of construction on site. General steel structure and timber elements were introduced throughout the house to alter the structural arrangement and achieve a modern look. The attic structure was designed to be the slimmest and lightest possible to achieve maximum headroom required by the client and to allow for easy transport of steel beams on site.
