Details
Domestic property [conversion] and extension. The scheme involved adding a single storey extension to the rear of the ground floor, with a new partially pitched, partially flat roof and 3 large skylights. Foundations installed included traditional strip foundations. The spans and open plan layout required steel framing to support the relatively large loads and to restore lateral stability of the building. The rooflights required timber joists to trim the timber roof around and provide support to the rooflights.
