31 Liverpool Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT2
Brief and project type
Full refurbishment with internal alterations, lower ground floor extension and loft conversion project to a private family dwelling.
Concrete, masonry, steel, timber
The scheme involved converting and adding additional space with open plan layout. Structures Made Easy Ltd. was approached by client architect to design both sub and super structure of the proposed building.
Scheme involved retaining walls, traditional strip foundations and underpinning to adjacent property. Lower Ground Floor benefited of open plan layout and extension that was achieved by inserting ‘box frames’ steel structures and steel beams under main load bearing walls of the house. Cranked beams were introduced to support the loft conversion roof.
We strive to respond speedily and efficiently to resolve project problems and queries for all our private residential clients.
